    bersa 380 disassembly issue

just got my new 380 and wanted to field strip it and oil her up for tonight at the range. being a know-it-all, instead of just turning the disassembly lever down to remove the slide, i pulled it out! now i cant get the slide off, cant get the lever back in as something is now blocking the hole. HELP HURRY!!!

ts going to take a little finesse and and patience I think. You will need a small screw driver to put in the opposite side of the hole that the lever goes in in try to move the assembly down enough to start to Jimmy the lever back in. It will take patience so take your time and dont be very aggressive as to cause damage to the pistol. The mechanism inside the lever hole is spring loaded so it will take pressure to push it down bit it can be done. I dont know of another way to do it and I know because I had mine out for refinishing. Good luck....
