Bullets Jamming
After I shot about Two times the next bullet jams up the pistol. We cleaned the pistol and used different ammo but still the same problem. Any ideas as to what is causing this problem. I have a Thunder 380.

Is the recoil spring on correctly, small end toward the breech? Did you disassemble the mag, clean & check for rough spots or burrs inside the tube that could impede the movement of the follower? Also, the blow-back design of the .380 is susceptable to malfunction if you do not maintain a firm grip & stiff wrist on recoil. Extra care should be given to be sure the shipping goo is cleaned from around the extractor claw.

Thanks for the response. Yes the gunsmith did those things and use other bullets but still the same outcome.

Then it may need to go to a warranty center. You can ship it direct, but only by UPS or Fedex & they require overnight shipment. Your gun dealer can ship it for you by regular USPS & much cheaper.
Check for a list of warranty centers on Eagle Imports' website, call the one you want to use & see what they suggest you might do. If your dealer will ship for you, take a letter which explains the problem & their name & address to him. Be sure he ships it to the correct place.

I am having a similar issue. I noticed my recoil spring was warping, and am waiting for a new one to come in. Hope that fixes the problem, but will def check the mag after reading the responses here.

I had a jamming problem with my 380 plus, I had purchased an extra magazine from Bersa and I eventually realized the jamming was only when I used that mag, I compared the two mags and the new one was a little wider at the opening, I adjusted the opening to match my original mag and that fixed the problem. Check out your magazine to see that it is not damaged; also sometimes a gun needs to be broken in a little before it will handle hollow points or any ammo other than FMJ ammo.

I had a jamming problem with my used Bersa .380 and it turned out to be a combination of a weak mag spring, dirty mag, & burrs on the metal follower. I replaced the mag spring, cleaned the inside of the mag body, and polished the rough edges on the follower and haven't had any problems since. Good luck.

What kind of ammo you using? That has been an issue with these guns. Seller and Bellot and Winchester white box dont feed well through them. Ive switched to magtech for the range and dont have any issue with it.
