Bersa BP9cc trigger weight

I purchased a BP9cc about a month ago. I haven't put too many rounds through it, about 200 or so, but so far it has functioned fine.

The trigger pull on it is VERY light. Way too light for a carry pistol IMO.

Is there any way to make the trigger pull a little heavier?

I know that is an unusual question, but this pistol has the lightest trigger on any pistol I have ever owned and I imagine it is only going to get lighter as the pistol is shot more.

The light trigger seems to be normal for those pistols. Despite this, several carry it & just make sure their holster is built to cover it & when they draw it, keep the trigger finger along the side of the frame until on target & ready to shoot. I don't know if there is a way to raise it. You might call a warranty center & ask them.

There are ways to raise the trigger pull weight, but I believe I would try and get used to the factory setting. If it truly does feel TOO light, there may be an issue. Please let us know and we can check it under the warranty for the firearm. Please let us know how we can be of help best.

from what i understand, the trigger weight on the BP is around 4 - 4.5lbs.

Ok, after testing the results from three BP Pistols, the average trigger pull is 3 1/2 pounds. 10 pulls each and then an average that was just slight over 3 and 1/2 pounds. There you have it.
