BP 9 CC Trigger pull weight

I purchased a BP9 CC new on 12/12/11 and have since put 300 rounds thru it. Performed perfectly. My concern is the light trigger pull. I did not expect it to be this light and not having a manual safety I am a little leery of carrying it.
Is there any way to raise the weight to 5.5 to 6.5 lbs? Love the gun and hate to get rid of it.

I don't own the BP, but this subject hs been discussed on Bersa Chat & you should join us there to talk with other BP owners. I believe the concensus was that careful attention to the usual gun handling rules will suffice, mainly keeping your finger off of the trigger. Not recommended for pocket carry except with a proper holster & nothing else in that pocket.
