Kind of a dumb question about the included lock

Just received my Thunder Pro 9 UC.

It came with a trigger lock and a special key, not the built in lock but a plastic lock that wraps around the trigger.

I can't for the life of me figure out how this attaches!

Can anyone provide insight?

Just toss in to the nearest trash can. Not worth effort to even try to put on . Their required to send them as several states believe a locked empty gun will save you life when needed. I have never tried I do as first posted send to trash can.

Hello, daystrom and welcome.
The trigger locks are required (in some states) to be provided when you purchase a new gun. I've seen many cases where the lock provided doesn't fit the gun.
You are welcome to post a picture of the lock type and we will try to help, but as posted by Michael T, most simply don't use the trigger locks.
