I just bought a Bersa Thunder 380 Plus. When I fired the gun the casings are expelled directly at my face. Is this action common for this model?

I have a Bersa Thunder 380 that I purchased new in March 2010 that has a problem with the slide lock. The slide will not remain in the locked position after firing the last round and removing the magazine. When I lightly lay it down, being slightly moved or when reinserting the magazine the slide will move forward without being released. It started doing this intermittently in the beginning and it is getting worse with use.

How do I arrange to have this repaired by your shop?
