Will Hoppes#9 damage the polymer grips?

I've only used Hoppes #9 in the bore of my pistols, so can't really say, but I feel sure that it'll ruin the finish on the grips even if it doesn't harm the polymer.

Yes, CLP would be okay.

There is no finish on the polymer grips, and Hoppe"s should not harm them. Wood grips would be another story.
